The Family Tree of the North Veluwe Branch
Based on the data collected by geneologist Marco Schelling we know that the North Veluwe Branch originated from
Michael Theussen Haeck
(also known as Michel Thijssen) who came around 1620 from Gummersbach
(Germany) and settled in or near Ermelo on the North Veluwe (northern part of the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands)
and died there in 1661 .
He was the first schoolteacher in Ermelo.
He was married twice. In his first marriage ,with an to us unkown woman, was born Wolter Michelsen (also known as Wolter van de Beek). No data , about children in this second marriage with Janneke Goossens from Harderwijk on April 17th 1650 are known to us.
Wolter Michelsen (also known as : Wolter van de Beek ), son of Michael Theussen Haeck, was a sub-magistrate in Ermelo. He had 7 children by an us unknown woman. His sixst child, a son named Evert Woltersen (also knowm as Evert van de Beek) was born in Ermelo, and baptize there on Thursday , September 24th, 1676.
This Evert Woltersen had 5 children , with an to us unknown woman.
His third child , a son named Wouter Evertsen
Pul,
born in Ermelo: Tonsel,
and baptized on Augustus 30th , 1705 is , to us ,the first known Pul in this branch.
Where his name "Pul" originates from is still a riddle , but the name "Pul" has , by then already , a long history.
